Road Trip Diaries | Charleston, South Carolina in Photos

Just a quick 5-hour drive northeast of Atlanta sits Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is a great coastal city filled with excellent food, beaches, and lots of great shopping. You can get there from Atlanta on one tank of gas and its only a quick flight from most east coast cities.

My best friend Jessica and I decided to take a quick weekend road trip to Charleston for the Charleston Food and Wine Festival. This year the festival partnered with Nikon and Saveur magazine to host a photography tour around different parts of the city. Nikon loaned us their Nikon 5600 DSLR camera and gave a guided photography tour around Charleston. I’ve been to Charleston before for work and pleasure but this time it was nice to view the city from a different lens. I needed a brush up on my photography skills and have been in the market for a new camera. This was a great experience to enjoy some great food and wine and learn something new.

Check out my photos from the trip below and tips on things do during your next trip to Charleston.
